BEAUTIFULLY INTIMATE WEDDING IN WALES WITH A TRIP TO A SECRET LAKE

Lexi & Elliot held their beautiful micro wedding at The Stables - The most gorgeously rustic space inside the grounds of Plas Dinum Country House. Like most 2020 weddings, their original plans had to change quite drastically due to the ongoing pandemic. They decided to hold a beautiful scaled down version of their day with a select few guests present. 

It was such a joy to capture their day. They are such a sweet young couple who’s love for one another showed in every glance. Photographing a day that went ahead, with such joy and happiness at it’s heart, in spite of all that was going on, was a gift I’ll always be so thankful for. That we could step away for just a day, from our anxieties and difficulties and simply celebrate the love between two people. 2020 has emphasised more than ever, just how much we need weddings.

I wanted to say a massive thank you to the team of suppliers who brought such beauty to Elliot & Lexi’s wedding during such a trying year. And of course, thank the couple themselves for allowing me to capture it. I enjoyed every single second!

I loved this moment! Elliot spied Lexi having her bridal preparation portraits done and couldn’t resist coming to say hello. It was adorable!

Rebecca Marie Weddings did the most amazing job at styling The Stable. A muted colour palette was applied throughout with touches of blush pink and warm neutrals. A simple and soft palette paired with layers of texture can be absolutely stunning, luxurious and romantic.
