MICRO CITY WEDDING AT THE DEPOT - N7 - LONDON // VIRGINIA & WILLIAM

My first wedding of 2021 was Virginia & Will’s beautiful North London micro wedding. Finally seeing this amazing couple marry, in front of their closest family & friends was the greatest honour and I’m still pinching myself that I was one of so few able to be there.
Virginia's family had travelled all the way from Texas and braved self-isolation and Will's family from Wales. Like most of us, they hadn't seen many of their loved ones in over a year. I felt so honoured to be there, seeing them catch up after so long apart. It really emphasised just how important weddings are and how wonderful it is that they're back.
They had their legal ceremony at Islington Town Hall followed by a personal ceremony at their awesome reception venue, The Depot, officiated by Virginia’s Aunt. It was such a beautiful day that embraced everything amazing an intimate wedding can be and I PERSONALLY loved that we got to make use of and celebrate their local neighbourhood. It's already one of my favourites!
Sending off a finished gallery is always a little scary - you’ve worked so hard and hope with all your heart that you’ve done a couple’s day justice. So sending Virginia & Will THEIR IMAGES, my first wedding in so many months and then receiving this reply, made me cry...
.“We are absolutely speechless! We can’t stop pouring over each photo and are absolutely blown away by every single one. Not only are they gorgeous, but you captured so many amazing moments in such an incredible way. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and talent, you are truly so so talented and kind to boot! … from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for everything. We will cherish these photos for a lifetime, and will always be thankful to have met you and for your wonderful presence on the day.”
I will never deserve their praise but I am so happy to be back doing what I love.
